First and foremost I am deeply honored and humbled each and every time a bride chooses me to cover such a milestone in her life. When I started in photography early in my Marine Corps career, I was only interested in landscapes and night photography. I never imagined shooting portraits or weddings. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else. One of the great things about being a wedding photographer is being able to experience those special moments when a bride and groom are at the altar over and over again. I never get tired of it and it feels special every time. I love capturing the emotions of the bride and groom and the candid reactions of their parents and guests.
I try to create a boutique experience for every couple from the initial consult, to the engagement session all the way through to the post-wedding viewing of the images and album creation. I easily make the transitions from being a trusted adviser in the planning process, to being a portrait photographer, to photo-journalistic photography and anything in between. Whatever it takes to capture every fleeting moment so that 30 years from your wedding day as you look through your wedding album, you can relive every moment. Even the ones you didn’t see.
